Song Editing 26th June 2008

The idea is to visually document our process of the Album so here are some pics from our first session of song editing at Golf Ave.

JUNE UPDATE!
SO WE JUST HAD a plannin meeting on saturday gone- im prob. not the one to write about it coz i wasnt there but i heard it was very productive- we planned dates & scehduled the CONCERT/RECORD for after the Perth Mission trip which would be in September 08-Lord willing we gonna get there!! Praise JAAASSSUUUSSSS!!
Hey- stay encouraged Worshipers!! Gods working a powerful move of his Spirit through us with this initiative-ITs ALL HIM!- we cant let it be about our organising but the telling of the Gospel is our mandate!!! Lets be Excellent in relaying the most RADICALLY ACTED, WORLD METAMORPHORSIZING, OUTRAGEOUS CLAIM FOR CHATOYANT LIVES ever scripted upon this mere rock of an earth. THE LIFE OF LIVING OUR KING JESUS & his victory to overcome is our testimonty we sharing!

Its come around again
The season of writing has begun in June - so far I've written about 3 songs..the latest I wrote while on the plane yesterday coming back to Auckland.

SPEAKING LIFE IN THE WILDERNESS
Living waters on desert land
Stirred my heart to believe again
Let your love revive my soul
In your presence, be made whole
You speak life in the wilderness
Your bring hope in my hopelessness
Jesus You are
You are everything
Written during the Daniel Fast - I never realised how much this chorus would play out in my life right now. In recent weeks well recent months there have been moments of stretching and transitioning going on personally and corporately. Praise God He's my rock. I'm sure all of us have been or is currently processing things, dealing with the heart issues, being stretched and challenged. Throughout it all I know that God has been my rock. Plain and simple - He's my rock!
Wilderness doesn't necessarily have to mean a drought season/dry spell, it can also mean a time of being tested - to reveal what people are really made of. God wanted to test and humble the Israelites in the wilderness that He would expose their hearts but not to punish them, but to bring about healing, to restore them so that they can come and worship God freely and to enter into the promised land with BOLDNESS. God provided for them even in the wilderness - he brought manna and quail - he brought about water from a rock - he turned bitter water into sweet water - there is so much that God did for them in the wilderness and yet they never really got it, because they still hadn't dealt with their hearts - it wasn't until it was the next generation that God led them into the promised land!
Its not a surprise that the title of the album is Frontline: Called to Battle. Gods dealing with hearts so that we can be prepared for battle. God's dealing with my heart before I can head into battle. Be encouraged family - my hearts cry is that God will fill you up - over the top - that in His presence You would be made whole/refreshed, that you would begin to believe again what God has placed in your hearts, that He would bring us to life in the wilderness to prepare us for the promised land. He is our EVERYTHING.
